Process automation with n8n
If your team copies data between tools by hand, that work already has a solution.
n8n connects the applications you already use — CRM, ERP, spreadsheets, email, databases, internal APIs — and runs the whole process without anyone sitting in front of it. The difference from building it yourself in the UI is that I treat it as software: error handling, retries, traces and tests.
I come from more than eight years building event-driven backend systems for Orange, BASF and Pulselive. An automation workflow is the same problem wearing a different face: integrations that fail, data that arrives malformed and processes that must be idempotent. That is exactly what I have been doing since 2015.
What's included
Tailored workflows
I design the process end to end: triggers, conditional branches, data transformations and notifications. No generic templates glued together.
Integration with your systems
I connect REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, webhooks and cloud services. If a tool has no n8n node, I write the node or the authenticated HTTP call.
Real error handling
Retries with backoff, explicit error paths, alerts when something breaks and a record of what happened on every run. A workflow that fails silently is worse than no workflow.
AI steps where they earn their place
Classifying email, extracting data from documents or drafting replies with a language model. Only where AI solves something a rule cannot.
Deployment and operation
Self-hosted n8n on Docker on your infrastructure, or n8n Cloud if you would rather maintain nothing. With backups and version control for the workflows.
Documented handover
You get the process documented plus a session so your team can change it. The goal is that you do not depend on me.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to automate a process with n8n?
It depends on how many systems need connecting and how complex the logic is. A simple automation between two tools is days of work; a process with several branches, validations and internal systems is weeks. I always work at a fixed project price, agreed before we start.
Self-hosted n8n or n8n Cloud?
Self-hosted if you handle sensitive data, need the workflow to reach internal systems, or want to control cost at high execution volume. Cloud if you would rather not maintain infrastructure. I set up either and recommend the one that fits your case.
Can you integrate n8n with our in-house software?
Yes. If it has an API, it can be integrated. If it does not, I can build a layer that exposes one. A good part of my backend career has been exactly that: putting clean interfaces in front of systems that had none.
What happens if the workflow fails in production?
It is designed to fail well: automatic retries on transient errors, error paths that alert the right person, and a log of every run so you know what went in and what came out. Critical processes are built so that re-running them does not duplicate data.
Do you work remotely?
Yes, fully remote from Spain on CET. I work in Spanish and English and have been in distributed international teams since 2022.
